Built as a coaching inn during the early 1800’s, the Imperial Crown Hotel, Halifax, has now been transformed into a modern hotel without losing any of its traditional Halifax character and features. and will provide a warm welcome for you and your wedding guests.

The Crown Imperial hotel is also conveniently situated in the Halifax town centre, opposite the Halifax train station and within easy reach of the M62.

The Wedding Ceremony
Looking for an alternative wedding venue in Halifax other than that of the Register Office or Church Wedding? The Imperial Crown hotel in Halifax holds a Civil Wedding Ceremony Licence and you may find it more convenient and relaxing to hold both your marriage ceremony and wedding reception under one roof. Our licence allows civil ceremonies to be conducted in a choice of rooms on our premises, which can cater for 120 guests.
