What does Corus stand for – our vision, mission and values
Our values guide and shape the culture of our company. The way in which we behave, communicate and work to meet our objectives is based on our belief in the five company values.
Our vision is to be the number one mid-market hotel group, with delighted customers, envious competitors and employees who are proud to make it happen.
Our mission is to always try to;
• Do it well
• Do it consistently
• Do it quickly
Our values reflect that;
• We are better than our customers expect
Our success as a Company will only be achieved through customer loyalty. Our customers deserve the best service, delivered quickly and consistently. In order to exceed our customers’ expectations, we all need to ‘add value’ to the customer experience.
• We are all happy to work here
Corus hotel is totally committed to achieving our goals through people. This is why we will always ensure that the way we treat our staff is on a par with the way we treat our customers.
• We look for fresh ideas all the time
Only by challenging the way we do things can we hope to constantly keep ahead of the competition. Everyone accepts responsibility and, as a company, we actively encourage continuous personal development.
• We are all part of the Company’s success
Teamwork, communication and simply saying “thank you” for a job well done is our basic philosophy. All employees have a part to play and deserve the correct level of reward and recognition for their important contribution.
• We are open and honest in all that we do
We expect all our employees to be open and honest in their dealings with both other employees and with our customers and suppliers. Openness and honesty lead to trust, respect and loyalty, which are key to the culture of our organisation.
Corus People – the Corus Family
We value people at Corus, their work, commitment and achievements. This is demonstrated by providing a good working environment for all staff by encouraging new and existing staff to feel part of the Corus Family.
