Q What's your favourite part of a wedding day?
I love the whole day, from greeting the Bride first thing in the morning right through to the first dance, but my favourite part of the day is seeing the bride into the ceremony and watching the couple emerge as newly weds - it's like a transformation.
Q What’s the best thing about your job?
It's difficult to choose the best part of my job as it's so varied! Every day is different, from showing newly engaged couples around the our stunning venue to seeing them tie the knot. Each wedding is so unique and special and I love working with every couple to create the day they dreamed of.
Q What should a couple look for in their perfect venue?
When looking for the perfect venue my advice would be to first consider your vision for the day, your guest numbers, your budget and any other things that are important to you for your day, and make sure your venue can accommodate all of these.
Q What is your role on the big day?
My role is to support you and your partner through every stage of planning your wedding, answering any questions you may have along the way, as well as working with our Event Manager to ensure that your day runs exactly how you envisaged it.
Q What are your last-minute tips for a bride the night before the wedding?
Relax! All the planning is done so take some time for yourself, have a bath, read a book, go for a run – whatever it is that relaxes you. If you are spending the evening with your Bridesmaids, make sure you get an early night! You could all enjoy an afternoon tea followed by a pampering session. It’s your last night as ‘Miss’, so enjoy it!
Q What would be your best piece of advice for a couple starting to plan their wedding?
Get yourself a planner and keep all your ideas in the same place. Write things down as you think of them and don’t be afraid to ask questions. No question is ever too silly!
